Short description: The project called Youth Club “ENTER” financed by the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth from Croatia, was implemented in the city area of Šibenik. Through the various project activities such as playing PlayStation3, playing board games, using Associations’s literature, free print for students, informing through info points (at the Association’s premises and Polytechnic in Šibenik), official website, official profile on the social network Facebook, numerous lectures and educational workshops (”Information and rights of young people“, „Get involved“, ”Violence and addiction are OUT” and ”To volunteer or not to volunteer that is the question”) organizing film and social evenings and the evenings of good book, young people are at high quality and educational way use your free time. The overall objective of the project: The overall objective of the project is to to encourage and inform young people from the area of Šibenik – Knin County through the theme of entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Short description: Project was financed by the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth from Croatia. The project was implemented in the area of Šibenik – Knin County, in the cities Šibenik and Knin. This project has elaborated the theme of young entrepreneurs and youth self-employment. Through the activities of the project in collaboration with the Association CEDRA from Split we held lectures in the area of Šibenik and Knin. We printed counselors for young entrepreneurs in which we covered the topics of establishing a company, trades unions and other essential information to start implementing business initiatives. Name of the project: „And the islands are Croatia, too“
The holder of initiatives: Youth Association “Youth in the EU” Target group: Young people from city Šibenik, from 18 to 30 years Place of implementation: Žirje and Zlarin islands Duration: 01 March to 31 June 2013. The overall objective of the initiative: The overall objective of the initiative is to clean the beaches and the environment on these islands of various waste especially plastic bags.
Short description: Civic Initiative “And the islands are Croatian, too“ is co-financed by the Foundation “Kajo Dadić” from Split, Croatia. The initiative was implemented through the month of June 2013th on the Islands Žirje and Zlarin in Šibenik hinterland. On the occasion of this initiative, we had an information desk on the islands through which we handed out leaflets to locals of the island and eco bags and we invited them to volunteer and care for its location as well as the preservation of the environment. General objective: Clean city park “Šubićevac” of waste and rebuild the bench
The initiative “Conserve our Sibenik” conducted during 2012th in the city of Šibenik. With the above-mentioned initiatives we have renovated benches and clean environment in Šubićevac. Our initiative has helped us a great number of volunteers of Šibenik, especially young people who are informed and educated about the importance of volunteerism and civic initiatives. As a reminder that they are helping us in this our initiative, we are all volunteers shared eco bags with the inscription Youth Association and the Foundation “Kajo Dadić.” With this initiative, we have shown wider community the importance of volunteerism, and encouraged the citizens on of preserving the environment, and how on that way achieve a clean and tidy green space in the city park “Šubićevac.”
Initiative title: “Conserve playgrounds”
The project leader: Youth Association “Young people in the EU” Target group: Youth (18-30 years) from the area of the city of Šibenik and Šibenik-knin county Project implementation area: City of Šibenik Duration: 01.01.2011. to 31.03.2011. General objective: To update and edit playgrounds for children in the neighborhood Vidici, Šibenik to be safe and carefree could play and socialize.
In 2011. we conducted an initiative in collaboration with Foundation “Kajo Dadić” from Split. After we found that playgrounds in the neighborhood Vidici in the city of Šibenik not regulated, but damaged, and as such dangerous for children, we decided to rebuild playgrounds in the city of Šibenik to children freely and without fear could play. Through this initiative, we encouraged youth and citizens on the volunteerism, and educated them about volunteering, how through volunteering they can help the society in which they live. Upon completion of this initiative, we were able to bring back the smile on the children’s playground.

General Objective: To inform and educate the youth from the city of Šibenik and Šibenik-knin county, about youth rights after the accession of Croatia to the EU membership.
With the above project which lasted throughout 2011. year, the citizens are better informed why Croatia should join the EU (facilitate employment in the European market, studying at European universities, easier retrieval of higher education institutions in the EU which meets the needs of young people, equal rights of Croatian consumers and European consumers …). Young people we are so educated and informed how and what rights they get after Croatia’s accession to the EU. Through this project we have included a large number of volunteers, professional brochures distributed to citizens on this subject, and we are in the association provided information to citizens and especially young people what awaits them after accession. In the cities of Sibenik and Skradin Drniš we shared abrochure at the info deskassociation. With this project the young people have found a place where they can come to be informed about their rights after Croatia’s accession to the EU

General Objective: Educating and informing young people about environmental regulations and the nature of Republic of Croatia and adaptation of these regulations the EU acquis. Mission: Encourage awareness of youth and the general public to take care of the environment
Project “Conserve our Environment” is the first project of this kind in the county. As an organization, we represent public awareness of young people about the environment and involvement of young people in the civil initiative clean beaches, playgrounds and parks on the voluntary principle. Based on the previous work of the Association, we noted great ignorance of young people about the regulations relating to the protection of environment and space, and even less knowledge of the changes that will occur after the accession of Croatia to the EU. Therefore We have 2011th launched the project during which young people are familiar with the regulations on the protection of environment and space and to these rules the EU acquis. Through the project activities, young people have realized that we should be concerned about protecting the environment, and how the importance of the environment is essential to human life. Also, the young people realize that they are the future leaders of of society and have to take the initiative and concern for the environment. During this project, We have encouraging the development of youth volunteering. The maintenance of this project, we conducted a variety of activities (forums, youth counseling …) that have helped them to raise awareness about protecting the environment, how the environment is important to the man, and that they should be an example to other members of society.
Project Title: “Prevent violence on the Internet”
The project leader: Youth Association “Young people in the EU” Target group: Eighth-grade primary schools in the city Sibenik Project implementation area: City of Šibenik Duration: 20.11.20010. to 30.06.2011. General objective: To educate and inform students of the eighth grader elementary school from the area of city of Šibenik and Šibenik-knin county, about the violence on the internet.
Peer violence on the Internet (Eng: cyberbullying) is a general term for each communication activity cybertechnologies (computer, cell phone) that can be considered damaging to the individual and the common good. Thus, in the academic year 2010/2011. we held a lecture on “Prevent violence on the Internet” at elementary schools in the county aimed at eighth-grade students of elementary schools, to inform and educate about violence on the Internet. In lectures, we distributed leaflets to students and their parents who have joined us on lecture. Through practical work, the students are met with the problem of violence on the internet, with a problem possible dependence of the internet, and they had free access to the internet with adult supervision. Participants lectures had learn some of the way to prevent violence on the Internet. With a lecture in elementary schools, we also held info desk at the city squares in the cities Šibenik, Knin and Drniš, and to citizens we shared brochures and leaflets on this subject, how to their children and grandchildren to teach about all the possible types of violence with which the young man at the present time can meet on the Internet.
