- Razgovarajte s nekim u koga imate povjerenja.

Cyberbullying is a serious problem that can affect the mental health of the victim. If you are a victim of cyberbullying or know someone who is a victim of cyberbullying, there are steps you can take to protect yourself and stop cyberbullying. UNICEF Croatia suggests the following steps:
1. Talk to someone you trust. This can be a parent, friend, or teacher.
2. Do not respond to messages that insult or disturb you.
3. If cyberbullying is happening on social media, report it to the platform.
4. If cyberbullying is happening at school, contact the pedagogue or school principal.
Here are some more tips on how to fight cyberbullying:
– If you receive a message from an unknown number on your mobile phone, do not respond. You should not respond even to known numbers if the content of the message makes you feel bad or uncomfortable.
– A joke can easily go from funny to offensive. Before posting something on social media, think about how it could affect other people.
– If you see someone else facing cyberbullying, offer them support and tell them they are not alone .
